Identifying the Licensing System

Nauticus Machinery Client version 16.0.0 and later use a new licensing system designed to enhance flexibility, security, and ease of use. All future versions will continue to use this new system.

For users of Nauticus Machinery Client versions 15.x and earlier, please consult the Legacy licensing system documentation.

Licence type

Cloud Managed Licence

A shared licence allowing the DNV software to run on any client PC with internet access to the DNV cloud licence server.

Device-locked

Licence is installed locally on a single client PC running the DNV software. After online licence installation the PC can be offline for up to 45 days before refreshing.
