Licensing System Transition
Nauticus Machinery is transitioning to a new licensing system designed to improve the delivery, activation, and management of licences. The new system provides greater flexibility, security, and scalability to support ongoing development and future deployment needs.
Beginning with the latest release of Nauticus Machinery Client 16.0.0, all future versions of Nauticus Machinery applications will use the new licensing system, fully replacing the legacy system. The licensing system in use—New or Legacy—depends on the specific version of the application.
Your existing legacy licences are valid until expired and can be used with previous versions of Nauticus Machinery applications.
Identifying the Licensing System
Going to the Downloads page, you can identify which licensing system is used for each Nauticus Machinery application version.
If you are uncertain about the type of licence you hold, please contact your company’s licence administrator (the individual who receives licence access keys and/or licence files from DNV) or reach out directly to DNV Support at software.support@dnv.com.
