Licensing System Transition
Sesam is transitioning to a new licensing system designed to improve the delivery, activation, and management of licences. The new system provides greater flexibility, security, and scalability to support ongoing development and future deployment needs.
Beginning with the latest releases, all future versions of Sesam applications will use the new licensing system, fully replacing the legacy system. The licensing system in use—New or Legacy—depends on the specific version of the application.
Your existing legacy licences are valid until expired and can be used with previous versions of Sesam applications.
Identifying the Licensing System
From the Applications table on the Downloads page, you can quickly determine which licensing system is used for each application version.
If you are uncertain about the type of licence you hold, please contact your company’s licence administrator (the individual who receives licence access keys and/or licence files from DNV) or reach out directly to DNV Support at software.support@dnv.com.
