F2AT (Fast‑Foundation Analysis Tool) is an advanced monopile foundation design tool that enhances the PISA methodology using fast 3D finite‑element–derived soil–structure interaction modelling. It integrates the advanced PSI solver with beam–spring representations to generate location‑specific stiffness, strength, and damping parameters. The tool enables a closed‑loop and optimised workflow for monopile design.
Key benefits
- Rapid generation of PISA‑compatible, site‑specific soil springs
- Reduced need for multiple computationally expensive 3D FE models
- Seamless integration with SESAM for efficient monopile design workflows
The accompanying documentation includes a comprehensive user manual for the F2AT software, covering tool functionality, required inputs, and guidance on interpreting results. In addition, an attached ZIP folder contains the complete monopile design workflow implemented as Jupyter Notebook–based tutorials. These notebooks demonstrate a step‑by‑step application of the advanced methodology, enabling users to reproduce, customise, and efficiently deploy the F2AT workflow in practical monopile foundation design projects.
